About Caldwell Opportunities, Inc.

Caldwell Opportunities offers IDD services to adults with intellectual disabilities support in developing independent living skills, vocational skills, and socialization skills. Services are funded in part by state funds, Vaya Health, donations, and fundraisers hosted by Caldwell Opportunities itself.

Accredited Programs

COI participates in the Adult Developmental Vocational Program,
Long Term Community
Supports, and Innovations Program to ensure our mission of increasing independence is achieved.



Transportation

Clients are transported to and from the facility in safe and accommodating company vans.

 

Volunteer Matching and Community Integration
COI matches clients to appropriate volunteer opportunities, as well as daily outings. Volunteer opportunities include the Lenoir Soup Kitchen, Yokefellow of Caldwell County, Safe Harbor, The Second Bloom Boutique and more. Community outings include bowling, recreation, the community garden, Crawdad's games, Special Olympics, Tweetsie and more.

COI features several in-house recreation rooms such as:

  • Video Game Room
